Horrible meat quality
I went to Applebees with my family on a Wednesday night. I ordered the Shrimp N Parmesan Sirloin. It took forever to get our food. Even the manager came over and said your food should be out soon. When my food finally came I immediately started to cut my steak. It was very apparent something was wrong. I was trying to cut through it and it was so chewy the sharp knife wouldn't cut it. When I finally cut two end pieces the color was off. It wasn't just over cooked it looked grey! So I cut from further in the steak and it was stretchy and grey! I dared to take a bite and gagged. I know meat very well and this was a rancid old piece of meat. Never have I tastes something that bad. I immediately told the waitress and she exchanged it for chicken as I no longer wanted steak. That was mediocre at best. I was very disappointed and got no discount for the nasty food or slow service. I ended up with a large bill and stomach ache! I do not plan to ever go there again nor will I recommend it.
